H is for Hyena
In this case a very dejected one who had been chased off of a lion kill in the Ngorongoro Crater
It slowly ambled past us not 10 feet away!

That is a very cool posting for the letter H, and I loved your G for giraffe last week too! Happy ABC Wednesday!
Very nice capture and proves you gotta be there at the right time to get the picture.
My post for H (hair) is over at Canon Pixels
Not your ususal road crossing animal. Great shot.
Oh good, more safari pictures.
How very fortunate that the Hyena Happened across your path.
Perhaps He Has Heard of ABC Wednesday.
Happy H day.

your hyena encounter is amazing. :O
It does look miserable! Extremely dejected!
You could have used this one last week for dejected too.
I guess he's not "laughing" now.
Great "H" and well captured
Are you located in Africa? The photos are nice...not something I see everyday!
Amazing what we all see when out and about....but this is one thing I will NEVER see in our village!
Thanks so much.
