Decision Time

Well actually I think I have already made it but I am conning myself into thinking that I am going to take the rest of the day to finally decide about trading in my motorcycle for a new one or not.
I am sure that I am going to call in to the dealers on the way home tonight to sort out the paperwork for a March 1st 08 plate VFR 800 in Candy Red. Well I will have to go for a shade of red again or else I would need to replace my leathers and my winter clothing with something to match either black or silver which are the only two other colours available. Amazingly the Honda Candy Red is remarkably similar to the burgundy red of my car.

I returned to my guitar lessons last night after a two week break to concentrate on home practice.
It seems to have worked. I thought that my strumming rhythm and my speed of chord changing had improved as well as the noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the chord sounds. Well my tutor confirmed this last night and promptly proceeded to make life difficult again with two new techniques to practice - 'add9' chord additions and 'pulling off'. No that is not what leapt into your unclean minds!

The bike looks wonderful but I do hope Mrs DeeJay finds away to calm her nerves...

Pete is hoping to re-begin guitar lessons next week! I say re-begin as a previous course was rudely interrupted by a bad back so he has not been able to lean over his guitar since then. It will be a very sharp learning curve but I admire him for doing what he wants to achieve.

So how long before you're putting up guitar recitals on Youtube?
