For a change I am posting photos that are not of my own making
So many people have commented about my safari animal photos on how lucky I have been to see them and at such close quarters.
Well, these photos of Hurricane Katrina make me so very glad that we don't get such phenomena in the UK and I don't get to be so close to them. When I saw these photos I realised that not only were folks suffering from terrible losses of life and property but must have been so very frightened also. They are so evil looking and menacing to be almost beyond belief.

Oh, dear! The immense power of that dreadful storm is communicated in those photos.
It will be a long time before Katrina is forgotten!
Such power is truly mindboggling. These photos give me the shivers and an ache just looking at them.

Those photos do show the immensity and horror of katrina.
